21 Savage said he doesn’t see Nas as “relatable” among at this age Hip-Hop generation, he proclaimed in a Clubhouse room named, “Is Nas the Greatest Rapper for sure?” The 30-year-old UK-born rapper claimed that the 49-year-old Illmatic icon is no longer at the forefront of hip-hop, but that he has maintained a large fan base throughout his nearly 30-year career, giving the impression of current relevance.
“What are you all saying, related aside?”21 Savage said, “He doesn’t really seem like a relative to me.I essentially truly feel like he got devotees.”

Friday marked the release of Nas’s latest offering, King’s Disease 3, one week after 21 released his Drake collaboration album, Her Loss, which debuted at No.1, surpassing Mr. Morale & The Massive Steppers by Kendrick Lamar to become the year’s highest-selling hip-hop debut. People did not take 21’s claims lightly, as twitter roasted him.
21 Savage calling Nas "irrelevant" and saying that "he just has a fanbase" is crazy. Somebody that released their first album 30 years ago and is still able to have a fanbase is proof of…relevance & a significant one at that.

21 Savage and Nas got two totally different fan bases and that’s ok. But to say Nas is irrelevant a year after he won a Grammy for best rap album is crazy.

21 Savage said Nas is irrelevant. It's funny because Nas at 49 years old just released 4 better quality albums than his whole discography.
But it's even funnier when 21 Savage is being relevant exclusively thanks to Drake in the last year 💀 pic.twitter.com/ffIdthZ2ti

The difference between someone like Nas & 21 Savage is.. Nas relevancy goes beyond this new generation of hip-hop fans. https://t.co/92eN93KiIC
