Afroman has formally declared his intention to run for president of the United States in 2024. The rapper submitted the necessary paperwork to the Federal Elections Commission.
According to TMZ, the rapper’s campaign group is called “Joseph Afroman Foreman for President.” According to the documents, Afroman plans to run as an Independent. Although the decision may surprise some, he first declared his intention to enter the race in December. He discussed his aspirations to take over the White House while playing in Missouri. The rapper intends to address marijuana legalization during his presidential campaign. There are no further specifics regarding his candidacy or positions on other political matters, though. The paperwork was submitted on April 18, two days before the famous 4/20 marijuana event that takes place on April 20.
