On Monday, Rep. George Santos proposed seven new laws, one of which was named after Nicki Minaj.

Santos made news last year for the strange way he manufactured his professional past. The Minaj Act seeks to provide “a development period for new vaccines in order to generate public confidence,” according to reporter Kadia Goba.
It happens a year and a half after the rapper encountered criticism for her comments on the COVID-19 vaccine. After adding a claim about a negative vaccination experience she had heard about from a “cousin in Trinidad,” Minaj came under additional fire.
My cousin in Trinidad won’t get the vaccine cuz his friend got it & became impotent. His testicles became swollen. His friend was weeks away from getting married, now the girl called off the wedding. So just pray on it & make sure you’re comfortable with ur decision, not bullied

Santos’ Minaj Act also coincided with his declaration that he would seek re-election after a tainted 2022 campaign that exposed a lot of ludicrous allegations about his personal and professional lives. – Steve Sijenyi
