INFLUENCER WHO WAS ARRESTED FOR RECORDING AND ENCOURAGING LOOTING IN PHILADELPHIA RELEASED ON BAIL

Her decision to document these criminal activities on social media only added fuel to the fire, leaving many perplexed by her reckless behavior.
Dayjia Blackwell, a social media influencer from Philadelphia who goes by the name ‘Meatball’ online, was released on Thursday after being arrested for looting in the city earlier this week alongside dozens of other locals.

Blackwell made multiple stops in the video to record the looting.

Blackwell, known by her followers for her bold and unapologetic online presence, apparently live-streamed the crime that led to her arrest. She was released on $25,000 bail. While some may have expected her display a newfound sense of responsibility upon her release, it seems that ‘Meatball’ has taken an approach more suitable to her liking. Though she said that she regrets being part of the looting, she has resorted to begging for cash from her followers.

The incident began when Blackwell was arrested and charged with six felonies for her participation in looting. Her decision to document these criminal activities on social media only added fuel to the fire, leaving many perplexed by her reckless behavior. – Steve Sijenyi
