Prior to Conor McGregor’s boxing match against Anderson Silva, Jake Paul sent him a message. Paul and Silva agreed to make a bet that Silva would work with Paul to form a fighter union if the former UFC champion defeats the YouTuber-turned-boxer. Paul has made it clear that he wants fighter pay to go up in the UFC, and now he wants Conor McGregor to help him and Silva.

“Conor, I have a message for you. Join me and Anderson in helping these fighters. We need all the help we can get,” Paul said to TheMacLife. “You’ve been pretty selfish at this point in your whole entire career. What have you done for a lot of fighters? This would be a powerful statement for you to join. So stop it, stop running, stop hiding, stop being selfish. We need all the help we can get in making this union. Conor McGregor that’s the message, join me and Anderson Silva. It needs to be done.”
There is no doubt that McGregor would be of tremendous assistance to Paul in unionizing UFC fighters if he joined Paul. The Irishman is the sport’s biggest star, and other fighters would likely follow in his footsteps if he became the face of the sport.McGregor hasn’t said anything at this point, and it’s unclear if he will.

Conor McGregor and Jake Paul both have a history of taking shots at one another, and the two of them have done so in the past. In addition, Paul has denounced the Irishman and stated that the fight will take place in the future. But it would be huge for MMA fighters if they were able to put aside their differences and work together to form a union.
