Social media was rocked by the horrific occurrence of the Maryland father, Christopher Michael Wright, who was killed outside his home after defending his child from a gang of teens and adults.

According to New York Post, the altercation started at Brooklyn Park Middle School, where the 14-year-old son of his fiancée was previously involved in a fight. After searching for the teen, the party returned to his house in search of him. When the schoolchildren arrived at his door with the teenager already inside, Wright intervened and informed them that his son was not going outside to fight. The middle school students then challenged him, telling him that if his son wasn’t going to confront them, he would have to do so instead, which caused Wright to have a severe brain injury that ultimately led to his death.

The altercation that occurred earlier in the day at the school was confirmed by school officials after being partially filmed on a surveillance camera. Law enforcement authorities are still looking into the incident, but no charges have yet been brought against any of the individuals involved. – Steve Sijenyi
