NEW RECORDINGS REVEAL COURTNEY CLENNEY CALLED CHRISTIAN OBUMSELI RACIAL SLURS BEFORE STABBING HIM

Clenney, 26, expressed her displeasure in one extremely heated clip that Obumseli did not inform her that he had greeted a woman while riding a bicycle. The recordings, which were first obtained by the Miami Herald and released by the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office, are now evidence in Clenney’s second-degree murder case. The couple had been dating for two years and it is reported that they had been having an “extremely tempestuous and combative” relationship, according to Miami-Dade prosecutors. Clenney’s attorneys issued a statement on Wednesday in response to the recordings, describing their client as a victim of domestic violence who used a knife to puncture Obumseli’s chest in self-defense. She won’t be tried because of her way of life, previous arguments, or recorded rants. She is going to trial because she defended herself against a violent fight with her ex-boyfriend that she feared would kill her” ; According to NBC Miami, the statement stated, “Courtney is a victim of domestic abuse.”
