PETE DAVIDSON GOES OFF ON PETA IN A LEAKED VOICEMAIL

ETA expressed its hope that Davidson would "show some big heart energy" and choose to adopt a dog as opposed to buying one from a pet store.

Pete Davidson wants PETA to stop following him around. The comedian made the decision to respond to Miss Daphna Nachminovitch, Senior Vice President of Cruelty Investigations at PETA, who claimed he did not adopt his new puppy.

In a recent interview with TMZ, Nachminovitch expressed her disappointment after learning that the celebrity did not adopt his new puppy from a shelter but rather from a pet store. After garnering a lot of attention and facing some internet backlash, Davidson is now defending himself and clarifying the situation. The “Saturday Night Live” actor informed her through explicit voicemail that he is unable to acquire any kind of dog because he is “severely allergic to them.”

In the first statement, PETA expressed its hope that Davidson would “show some big heart energy” and choose to adopt a dog as opposed to buying one from a pet store. It was previously reported that Pete Davidson and his girlfriend Chase Sui Wonders had bought a new dog at a pet store back in May. The puppy in question, a Cavapoo, was reportedly purchased at a Citipups store in Manhattan. After hearing his intriguing message, PETA issued a fresh statement in which they stated:

“If Pete had done his research, he would know that there’s no such thing as a hypoallergenic dog, that at least a quarter of dogs in shelters are purebreds, and that Petfinder has listings for homeless dogs of every breed under the sun, including the one he purchased.”
