American rapper Takeoff has been shot to death in Houston, Texas. Takeoff, whose real name is Kirshnik Khari Ball, was a member of the rap trio Migos with his uncle Quavo and his cousin Offset. According to a number of sources, the shooting started because of a dice game. Takeoff was depicted in social media photos wearing black pants and a white shirt. A man who matched the rapper’s description could be seen motionless on the ground in the aftermath video.
At first, it was said that Quavo, a fellow rapper, was shot as well. However, Jason Lee has since confirmed that this was not the case. It was a one-off occurrence.

Quavo and other individuals can be seen gathered around Takeoff in the footage that TMZ Hip Hop has obtained from the scene. At first they attempted to move him, however at that point set him back down, and Quavo shouted for somebody to find support. According to the police, two additional people were shot and transported to the hospital in private vehicles. It is not clear what their circumstances are.
