TAKEOFF MURDER SUSPECT PATRICK CLARK APPLIED FOR EMERGENCY PASSPORT PRIOR TO ARREST

It took time to make an arrest since around 30 witnesses fled the scene following the incident.

According to ABC13 News, the suspect arrested for the murder of Takeoff applied for an emergency passport prior to his detention. Patrick Clark, often known as DJ Pat, is a Houston rapper and strip club promoter who was arrested on December 1. Clark was apprehended with a substantial quantity of money and documentation proving he’d applied for an expedited passport and booked a journey to Mexico. Clark, according to prosecutors, is a flight risk.

On November 1, Takeoff was shot and murdered outside of the 810 Billiards & Bowling. Him and his uncle, Quavo of the Migos, had leased the space for a private gathering. According to ABC News, Houston Police Sgt. Michael Burrow stated during a press conference that a lucrative dice game outside the venue led to several armed males opening fire, noting that Takeoff was an innocent bystander.

The police stated that it took time to make an arrest since around 30 witnesses fled the scene following the incident. Cell phone footage and ballistics evidence led to Clark’s arrest, but police are still asking anybody who fled the scene to come forward. Prosecutors asked for a $1 million bond since Clark had an expedited passport application and had already booked a ticket to Mexico. – Steve Sijenyi
